I can't believe I did this!

Okay...so here's a funny story. I was helping my roommate make a Christmas treat and we were boiling sugar and Karo Syrup and some butter anyway, it started to get too hot and it was going to boil over, so I went to lift up the pan and some of it spilled over, well I wasn't too worried, until it started on FIRE! We hade flames up to the microwave! Kelly just stood there and waved her hands at it yelling the entire time, my other roommate came running in screaming to put
Baking soda on it and I grabbed a lid and smothered it. LOL. It left quite the mess and it took awhile to clean it up, but it was HILARIOUS!

New Place!

I did it! I finally let Kade and Ciara have some peace and quiet and I've moved into a new place. It's a lot of fun! I live with 3 other girls. (Thankfully I have my own room, THAT could have been scary hee hee)

School's Started!

Well, School has started. I'm actually a week into it. I've decided that I LOVE it! It has been a LONG time since I've been in school. It's fun, even if it's hard to keep up with this crazy schedule I have. I'm going to school full time and continuing to work full time as well. But I love my classes. For those who don't know I'm studying to become an Elementary Teacher. I'll be starting my student teaching soon and I'm excited!

I'm an idiot

I'm not a professional blogger everyone! LOL When you look at the Kolob posts look at the 2nd post before you look at the 1st one. That's the order they're supposed to go in. Sorry for the confusion. :)

BBQ at Kolog

On Saturday we had our delicious BBQ! With, of course, Guarana!!!!

Good cooking Ramsey!

BBQ at Kolob!

On Friday I went to Hurricane where the great mountains known as Kolob are. This was a reunion of all of the elders and sisters in my district at the MTC. We're actually missing two of the elders, but everyone else was there! It was so much fun! I loved the mission and I love the friends that I made!

When we first got there we ate and then we drove up to Ramsey's cabin up in Kolob.
The scenery was beautiful!

Friday night we stayed at Ramsey's cabin. We of course sang around the campfire. Ramsey plays the guitar really well and he just played some tunes while we made up some songs. They were pretty funny.

Memories

Here is a fun little game...Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.On your mark...get set...blog your memories!!

I'm still alive

I doubt that anyone checks this blog anymore since I haven't posted anything on here for months. But I thought that I would just put in a quick little note and say, YES I'm still alive!

With all of the fun pics of Kade on Ciara's blog...I couldn't help but feel left out. So here's a couple of me and my bro.

It Figures

Its a little hard to tell that I wrecked it from this pic...but I can see it. ;)
Well...of course after just posting proudly on my blog all about my fun little Bumblebee...I had to go and wreck it. Just goes to show that these things we have really are just things, and that sometimes what seems so important, really isn't that important after all. :)

My own little bumblebee

So I bought this car a little while back, and as soon as my nephew saw it he decided that we had to call it the Bumblebee. I know its not nearly as good-looking as the "real" Bumblebee on Transformers...but I like it. (Especially the YELLOW color!)

President Hinckley's Funeral

Yesterday, I was able to go to President Hinckley's funeral with my dear friend and former mission companion, Wendy Jensen. It was such an awesome experience! The spirit was so strong at President Hinckley's funeral. I was so blessed to have been able to be there in person! What a wonderful spirit of peace and love. As I think about President Hinckley and the life he lived I can only be in awe. What a wonderful, amazing example for each of us to follow! What a full and beautiful live he lived! How blessed we all are to have been able to have him for a prophet! I can't seem to feel sad for President Hinckley's passing. All I can feel is happiness and joy for him as he is reunited with his sweet wife, Marjorie and with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. All I can do is feel this wonderful feeling of peace and acceptance. He was our prophet. He guided us and showed us the way! He is now home and one day we can all be home with him.

Here I am!

Here's one of the last pics that I took before I came home from the mission. Its so crazy to think that that time is over in my life! What an amazing blessing it was to have been able to serve the Lord and His humble people in Brazil! This truly is God's work and I was so priviledged to have been a small part of it! In this picture are two amazing Sister missionaries that I was able to serve with. Sister Machado (left) and Sister Bezerra (right). They are both converts to the Church and their zeal and conviction to the Church is absolutely incredible! I loved working with them!
